Services by the Season

Lakewood Lawn Services offers an array of services, with a focus on lawn maintenance and snow removal/ice control. We want to be your go to for four season maintenance. From cleaning up winter debris and mulch installations in spring, weekly lawn services during the summer growing season, fall leaf and debris clean-ups, to snow removal and ice control come winter.

Spring Services

Spring time means it’s almost summer and time to get your lawn ready for regular mowing. Blowing your leaves with backpack blowers gets all the debris off your grass so it can get better access to sunlight. It also breaks apart matted grass and stimulates grass to start growing.  Mulch breaks down over time and color fades, freshening up your plant beds can really polish up the look of your property. Nothing is worse then walking along your pathway getting smacked by overgrown hedges. Spring and fall are the best times to keep your hedges looking sharp.

Spring Clean-Up

Winter weather can bring down even the most stubborn leaves and any weak tree limbs. We come out with back pack blowers and break up any grass that has clumped together. Any leaves, nuts, or sticks that have dropped from winter storms can be collected and disposed of or blown discreetly into most surrounding wood lines.

Mulch Install

Mulch should be rotated every six months and a fresh layer applied yearly. Nothing freshens up the curb appeal of your property like fresh wood chips. We will stir up old chip and lay 2" layer of fresh chip.

Hedge Trimming

An unruly overgrown bush will make your property look less then desirable. Let us come cut back any overgrown hedges to a healthy length.

Summer Services

Roughly from the end of April to late October your grass is going to grow and need to be trimmed weekly. We specialize in a high quality cut at a very consistent interval. We don’t like the way some other companies fluctuate their cutting schedule. When you know when your lawn crew will be there you can make sure everything is in place for your cut. That means we can be more consistent and focus on arrow straight lines. Now this doesn’t mean we are sticklers about our schedule, With some advanced notice its no problem to cut before a party or get together.

Weekly Lawn Maintenance

A healthy well maintained lawn can grow 6" in a week. Making a consistent cutting every week a necessity. Lakewood Lawn Services specializes in weekly residential lawn maintenance.

Fall Services

Autumn is beautiful in the trees, in your front yard, not so much. Prepare your lawn for winter by getting those excess leaves off your property. Get your flower beds ready for winter by trimming  perennials. Cut back any hedges that have overgrown since spring.

Fall Clean-Up

Just like clean-ups in spring, but fall clean-ups are a bit more focused at getting bulk amounts of leaves removed from the lawn.

Trimming Perennials

Withered and wilted perennials are unsightly and unhealthy. Trimming and removing dead perennials makes room for new growth come spring. With the added benifit of making your flower beds clean and well kept.
